Safety of journalists during the Olympic Games
One of my top priorities is supporting journalists by providing practical advice on safety and legal frameworks, so they can work at ease in France, especially during major events.
During the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, I developed a comprehensive video training module in English, covering risk assessment, navigating interactions with law enforcement.
Building on this work around the Olympics, I am currently designing a new free online training program. Its goal is to help journalists face the increasing risks of covering election campaignsin France, Italy, Serbia, Poland, and beyond. Covering an election requires specific skills: understanding threats, distinguishing between local and national dynamics, and adopting best practices such as fact-checking and identifying reliable sources. The program will cover physical safety, cybersecurity, and mental health, while also providing concrete strategies to deal with censorship and internet shutdowns.

Media in the Balkans
Developing targeted training programs for journalists in the Western Balkans, especially in EU candidate countries, is a strategic priority. The aim is to ensure a free and secure media environment aligned with European standards of press freedom and the rule of law. My goal is to provide specialized training in physical and digital safety, protection against online harassment, and reporting on law enforcement operations, tailored to the needs of these journalists.

Law enforcement and protection of journalists in Europe
This training project focuses on analyzing the role of law enforcement in protecting journalists. It examines regulatory frameworks, strategies, and best practices—particularly those recommended by the Council of Europe.
The objective is to identify effective mechanisms and highlight their weaknesses. Based on this analysis, the project will propose concrete recommendations to strengthen public policies, inspired by the most realistic and successful approaches implemented across Europe.
